Write couple of paragrapha about dhararahara.
Answer:
The Dharahara or Bhimsen Tower was located in Sundhara, and was a historical and tourist attraction of the city.
Explanation:
The nine-story Dharahara Tower, one of the city's top tourist attractions with its 200 spiral staircase steps, was reduced to rubble due to the 7.8-degree earthquake on the Richter scale at noon on Saturday.
In a few minutes, the tower fell to the ground with about 100 people inside.
Apart from the priceless human losses, one of the most regrettable tragedies left by the earthquake in Nepal is its effect on the historic architecture of the region. Home to seven areas designated as World Heritage by UNESCO, the affected regions of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur are making headlines for the extensive damage that has been uncovered to their most important monuments.
Despite not being a "UNESCO Site", one of the most dramatic losses is the collapse of the Dharahara tower in Kathmandu, a distinctive feature of its skyline even before the earthquake.

Holi is a famous festival of the Hindus. Very simply, it is called the festival of colours because colours are enormously used during this festival. It generally falls in the month of March. In Nepal, it is mostly celebrated in the Terai; nowadays, it is celebrated all over the country.
This festival does own cultural and religious significance. It is attributed to the story of Prahlad who was a great devotee of God Bishnu but Prahlad's father did not like it. He tried to killed his son, Prahlad, several times but he could not. Once he ordered his sister Holika to burn him to death. She took Prahlad in her arms and sat on a great burning fire. She was once blesssed not to be harmed by a fire, but that time blessing did not help her. She was killed in the fire but Prahlad was safe. Here, Holika stands for destructive evils and Prahlad signifies a true devotee. Holi festival has been celebrated as it symbolizes the of victory of devotion and virtue over evils.
It is celebrated with great joy and enlightnment. People prepare sweets and enjoy them. They also worship gods. Everybody puts on new clothes. Small and young boys manage small parties, sing and dance. People smear their faces with different colours. They throw coloured water on one another. All the participants get wet. Thus, the days of Holi are merry making. In order to create fun, they also exchange and crack funny jokes. Everybody forget sorrows and deserves complete glee and happiness.
This festival has both advantages and disadvantages. This festival seems to be advantageous because people are completely happy. They can build up brotherhood, friendship, love and closeness. This festival helps people remove quarrels, bitterness, enmity, brutality and hatred. But nowadays, we can realize some drawbacks of it.Some people drink, sing vulgar songs and speak filthy language. Such misbehaviour leads them to quarrels, enmity and ruins.
We can say as the conclusion that this festival is really advantageous although it has some disadvantages. People should reform it in order to avoid unpleasant and unwanted activities during this festival. It is expected that the educated people of the societies should play a leading role to reform it. Then, it kills evil thoughts and activities.

In 5-10 sentences explain why Ambrose Bierce does not write his story, An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge, in chronological order. What do we learn from Farquhar’s flashbacks? How does this impact readers understanding of the story?
Answer and Explanation:
"An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge" is a short story by American author Ambrose Bierce set during the Civil War. The main character, Peyton Farquhar, is tricked into trying to burn a bridge that would allow Union soldiers to cross into Confederate territory.
Bierce does not narrate this story in chronological order. By doing that, he gets to trick readers, especially towards the end. In the first part of the story, Farquhar is already about to be hanged, having been accused of treason. However, the second part is a flashback. We get to know who Farquhar is and how he got tricked into trying to burn the bridge. In part three, the narrator deceives readers. It is time to actually hang Farquhar. But, while Bierce separated reality and flashback into two different parts before, he does not do that now. Reality and hallucinations are mixed. We are led to believe that the noose broke and that Farquhar was able to escape and return home. We are brought back to reality in a sudden, almost cruel way:
Peyton Farquhar was dead; his body, with a broken neck, swung gently from side to side beneath the timbers of the Owl Creek bridge.
Farquhar never escaped. He hallucinated in the brief moments it took him to die from hanging.

What is a good introduction for the Steve Jobs essay. for the 6th grade
Answer:
Paul Jobs was raised in Germantown, Wisconsin and became a Coast Guard in World War II. He made a bet with his friends that he would be able to find a wife within two weeks. He met Clara Hagopian, who was born in New Jersey after her parents fled the Turks in Armenia, and the couple was engaged within ten days. Clara realized that she could not have children, so the married couple looked at adoption (Issacson 28-29). Joanna Schieble was a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin. She lived within a strict household where her father was extremely strict about dating. When Joanna met Abdulfattah Jandali, a Muslim teaching assistant from Syria, her father threatened to disown her. She went with Abdulfattah to Syria and two months later when they returned, found out she was pregnant. Keeping the baby and abortion were not options the couple considered. When Joanna found out the adoptive couple were Paul and Clara Jobs, she made them promise that they would keep a college fund for the baby. Steve Jobs was born on February 24th, 1955. After some reluctance, Joanna signed the adoption papers and gave Steve Jobs to his new parents (Issacson 30-31).Steve Jobs knew from a young age that he was adopted. Many of his close friends believe that the awareness that he was given up as a baby made him into the independent person he grew up to be (Issacson 32). Jobs has said that he knows people say that the reason why he has worked so hard was because he wanted his biological parents to want him back, but Steve said that is not true. (Issacson 33). Steve’s father is the person that introduced Steve to technology. Paul worked on cars often, and although Steve did not like to get his hands dirty, he loved doing whatever he could to help. A Single Word.
Explanation: Any piece of literature, whether a poem, short story or novel, has an overall mood. The mood determines if it is a comedy, tragedy, romance or drama. Within a story there are shifts in the mood, or tone, as the story progresses. These tone shifts are what makes the story exciting, taking the reader through a wide range of emotions. Tone is one tool that an author uses to define characters and set the scene. There are too many tones to list them all, but some commonly used in literature are: happy, sad, sarcastic, mad, scary, ominous, love, hate, scary, uneasy, comfortable, serious and humorous. There are many ways an author can use the tools of their trade to create a tone shift.
In his Stanford University Commencement Speech, Steve Jobs said, "Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. ...Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition." Do you personally agree or disagree with this statement? Why? How do you think Jobs exemplified this in his daily life? You may choose to review the excerpt from Steve Jobs: The Many Who Thought Different in order to find supporting details. Your response should be about 150 words.
Answer:
"Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice" implementation
Explanation:
I personally agree this statement of Steve Jobs " Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition"
I agree, because a person can be happy by following only what his / her own heart & mind say, not the footprints of others. Diluting self personality because of world's perceptions is derogatory for personal, professional growth.
Jobs exemplifies this in his daily life by practicing what he preached. He left university for starting apple. He later also took many brave decisions, stated that 'I want to put a dent in universe'. He innovated & became a leader. So, he followed his inner voice, irrespective of people's opinion regarding the same.

Why the grocery chain demands more plastic bags?
One of the theory of Demand states that there is going to be a rice in price of a given product,of the demand of that product increases without a corresponding rice in the supply of that product.
At the current market price, the demand has increased due to the switch from paper sacks to plastic bags.
Since the Demand is greater than Demand manufacturers will likely increase the price of the plastic bags, this likely to happen in a free market economy where market forces such as Demand,Supply, price influence market trends.
