Can someone please explain this math problem to me? I keep redoing it but I don't understand. The problem is 5.6 ÷ 16. I keep getting the answer 9 r2 by dividing 5.6 by 10 to get .56 then I do 56 ÷ 6 and I got 9 r2. I E-mailed my teacher, they said there is no remainder. I just don't understand how.
