How do you feel about completing task that require you to work as part of a team.

Answers

Answer 1
Tasks As a Team

Generally, I feel comfortable working in groups when it comes to getting jobs done. Especially if it's with people I am already familiar with. I'm not one to lead the group often, but I don't slack off either, and I make sure my contribution is done with.

Now when it comes to things like school group projects, however, I typically have to take hold of the reins. A lot of people will either act like they'll make a contribution, and then ditch you at the last moment - or just blatantly ignore whatever task they need to do. Depending on how much the grade is worth, I end up doing the majority of the work, 'cause I don't got time for the slacker clowns I tend to get grouped with most of the time-

Have a nice day fam, lol. Spread the love

Spring and Fall
To a Young Child
by Gerard Manley Hopkins

Over Goldengrove unleaving?
Leáves like the things of man, you
With your fresh thoughts care for, can you?
Ah! ás the heart grows older
It will come to such sights colder
By and by, nor spare a sigh
Though worlds of wanwood leafmeal lie;
And yet you wíll weep and know why.
Now no matter, child, the name:
Sórrow’s spríngs áre the same.
Nor mouth had, no nor mind, expressed
What heart heard of, ghost guessed:
It ís the blight man was born for,
It is Margaret you mourn for.

This battle with Mr. Covey was the turning-point in my career as a slave. It rekindled the few expiring embers of freedom, and revived within me a sense of my own manhood. It recalled the departed self-confidence, and inspired me again with a determination to be free. The gratification afforded by the triumph was a full compensation for whatever else might follow, even death itself. He only can understand the deep satisfaction which I experienced, who has himself repelled by force the bloody arm of slavery. I felt as I never felt before. It was a glorious resurrection, from the tomb of slavery, to the heaven of freedom. My long-crushed spirit rose, cowardice departed, bold defiance took its place; and
I now resolved that, however long I might remain a slave in form, the day had passed forever when I could be a slave in fact. I did not hesitate to let it be known of me, that the white man who expected to succeed in whipping, must also succeed in killing me. From this time I was never again what might be called fairly whipped, though I remained a slave four years afterwards. I had several fights, but was never whipped. It was for a long time a matter of surprise to me why Mr. Covey did not immediately have me taken by the constable to the whipping-post, and there regularly whipped for the crime of raising my hand against a white man in defence of myself. And the only explanation I can now think of does not entirely satisfy me; but such as it is, I will give it. Mr. Covey enjoyed the most unbounded reputation for being a first-rate overseer and negro-breaker. It was of considerable importance to him. That reputation was at stake; and had he sent me--a boy about sixteen years old--to the public whipping-post, his reputation would have been lost; so, to save his reputation, he suffered me to go unpunished.

Anise and fennel are both flowering plants in the carrot family. Anise is native to
Southwest Asia and the eastern Mediterranean region, but fennel is native specifically to
the shores of the Mediterranean. The two are often confused for one another because
they share a similar flavor profile that of black licorice. However, only the seeds of anise
are edible, whereas the entire fennel plant can be eaten. The fennel bulb can be served
as a vegetable, while the leaves and seeds are often used to flavor soups, sauces, meats,
and teas. Just like fennel seeds, anise seeds are used to flavor teas and a wide variety of
dishes. In addition, they are used in the production of essential oils.

Answer:

"The Negro Artist and the Racial Mountain" was an essay written by Langston Hughes. The main point of this essay is to explain the position of blacks when it comes to their dreams. It isn't just with art, it refers to any dream of black people, such as medical, economic, or even political. This essay doesn't just cover how black people are judged. It describes how they feel because of the discrimination. If white people weren't bringing them down, then they could feel more confident about their goals. The black people who wish to paint follow their dreams with a lot of doubt, but they do it anyway because they believe in themselves just enough to do so. Racism is a huge obstacle for black artists who wish for others to recognize their work. This isn't just part of their job, but it's part of a racial dispute because of their color. That's the obstacle that is represented by the mountain. While it seems they'll never be able to climb it, they can. Everyone should be allowed to follow their dreams no matter what. Nothing can set them back even if it seems like it might. So in conclusion, the main point of this essay is to explain how black people feel when it comes to their dreams in life. They have a huge mountain to climb in life, but some of them lack the confidence to do so due to racial discrimination. But they can achieve their dreams nonetheless.

Explanation:

A two-party system is a type of party system where two parties dominate political life. In the countries described by the term, other parties are also legal and active, and therefore it should not be confused with a one-party state, where parties other than the ruling party are generally illegal, but these parties do not have almost any political relevance at the national level.

It has been stated, among other things, that such systems always offer two clear government alternatives, and that the relevance of personal elections is considered to increase, as personal positions on various issues become increasingly important.

What happens at the bazaar in “Araby”? Choose two options

Answers

The bazaar is a much-anticipated event for the young narrator of James Joyce's short tale "Araby," who has a crush on a girl he intends to impress with a gift from the bazaar. The narrator feels eager and anticipatory as he thinks about the wonders the bazaar will hold for him.

What is the purpose of the bazaar?

Tube socks, velvet paintings, and corn on the cob are just a few of the strange items you may find in a bazaar, which is a market with endless rows of tiny businesses selling them. Bazaar is a Persian word that originally meant "marketplace" and is used throughout the Middle East.

It is possible to interpret the narrator's experience at the bazaar as a metaphor for his own maturation and his coming to terms with the fact that the world is full of disappointment and disillusionment. The narrator's hopes and dreams are represented by the bazaar, while the harsh truths of the outside world are reflected in the market's reality.

The narrator gains the ability to control his expectations and approach the world with a more mature and realistic perspective as a result of his experience at the bazaar.
