Copying a report from the internet in many parts of the country is considered plagerism. However, is it really wrong? In my personal opinion it isn‘t wrong to copy a report from the internet as long as you obtain the permission from the person who wrote it. For example: In Brainly you can either ask for help or people can do the work for you. It’s up to you to decide what you want to do. Also, people are sometimes busy and don’t have enough time to write their own essays so having someone else make their essays is less time consuming and efficient. According to Inside Higher ED, it states: “When a person borrows an idea, no harm is done to the party from whom it was taken.” The Harbus states that plagerism is discriminatory stating: “If you believe that plagiarism is “unethical,” you are basically endorsing discrimination against people who lack original ideas. No, I personally don’t think it’s wrong because many people don‘t have the time to write an essay or report. Also, as long as the person who you are taking the ideas from are ok with the idea of you taking their work then you have no problem in adding their voice, ideas and opinions into your own work.
