If you focus at a map, you might see that the earth's continents fit like a puzzle piece. Land don't just move; beneath the suface of land, there are techonic plates. Those are what causes earthquakes... And what makes continents move. Right now, techonic plates move at the speed of about 1 to 2 inches per year. With that evidence, you could probe that when Pangaea existed, there were techonic plates that moved it. But they only become obvious after severel million decades. Other things, like earthquakes, take a second to happen. Take the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake for example. At 5:12 a.m., people felt a jolt. It didn't take very long, and people had no idea it was going to happen. Flash back to the techonic plates. Techonic plates are the opposite. It moves slow. My proof is that after 300 million years, it only became obvious. It changes, actually. In conclusion, things that are very short, and things that are very long to happen, might be related, just like earthquakes and techonic plates. Earthquakes are CAUSED by techonic plates.
