An is a word that modifies (describes) a verb, an adjective another adverb, or even a whole
sentence. Adverbs often end in -ly, but some (such as fast) look exactly the same as their adjective
counterparts
Answer:
Adverb.
Explanation:
An adverb can be defined as a word that is used in English language to modify a verb, adjective, or another adverb. Some examples are slowly, quickly, brightly, sadly, etc.
Generally, adverbs are formed by adding the suffix "ly" to the end of a verb e.g mistake + ly = mistakenly.
Hence, an adverb is one of the parts of speech in English language and it refers to a word that modifies (describes) a verb, an adjective another adverb, or even a whole sentence. Also, some adverb such as fast are exactly the same as their adjective counterparts. For example, she is fast asleep, my wrist-watch is running fast, do it as fast as you can, etc.

the pardoners tale Is he truly evil, simply drunk, or so used to cheating that he does it automatically?
Answer:
The pardoner is really bad and this is admitted by him.
Explanation:
The pardoner admits that he acts out of greed and hypocrisy. He recognizes that he is a bad person, a crook, who has no remorse for twisting the faithful and exploiting the offerings they give to the church. The padorner's lack of remorse is because he is so used to being a crook that he cheats automatically, without thinking twice, even though he knows it's a sin.

Coherent essay (Are men and women given equal right?) write a thesis
Answer:
No! Men and Women are not given Equal Rights. We can hope it will be in the future. Equality between men and women means that both genders should not be treated differently on the sole basis of their gender. This applies to all fields of life, for example the rights, opportunities and status of the two genders. Therefore, men and women should be treated equally with regard to everything. There are no circumstances where a woman or a man should be treated differently because of their gender. In some countries both genders have equal rights when others don't. In some countries, Women are Paid lesss because they are Women. 1.3 billion people in the World live in absolute poverty- 70% of them are women
-150 million children worldwide don’t go to school- 90 million of these are girls
-Women ear 77 cents to the dollar a men makes.
Across the world the disparity between males and females is striking. According to data collected by Worldmeters, the population of Earth consist of 50.4% male and 49.6% female. Although the ratio between these two genders is almost identical, women are systematically mistreated and discriminated against thought the globe. While many of the disparities and inequalities occur in developing nations, there are developed western societies where women are still unable to attain the same level of education, secondary opportunities and even pay as their male counterparts. Freedom and equality are ideas this country has had for centuries that have evolved over time. In 1776, what Thomas Jefferson meant by “all men are created equal”, is that white males are dominant in society. Women are treated worse than men and slaves treated worse than women. People that weren’t of the “superior” race/gender of a white male were typically treated as if they were less. Women and African-Americans aren’t being treated as bad today, but they’re still being treated worse than the white males of society. Even today, when white males are typically the leaders of society, it’s not always race and gender that creates inequality; sometimes it’s money that creates the issue.

THIS ENGLISH PAPER IS WRITTEN BY A PAPER SERVICE ONLINE.
Two wolves is an adventure novel with action in it, and some parts consist of humor. The story also involves a conflict where Ben tries to fight the physical world and childishness. The book begins when Ben Silver arrives home from school and is trying to shoot an animation movie in his bedroom when the police arrive. Immediately after the police leave, Ben's parents come and inform him that they have to leave for a family vacation. Ben and his sister Olive get ready and are in the car, but Ben realizes that something is weird since their family never goes on vacation. Since childhood, Ben wanted to become a detective making his father nicknamed him 'cop.' Ben is a quick thinker and realizes that his parents have done something wrong and are on the run. Ben makes up his mind to find out what had happened so that he can uncover his parents. Ben is depicted as the protagonist in the novel, while his father is the antagonist. This paper compares how the author presents the protagonist and the antagonists through various characters.
The two wolves, good and bad, are presented through Ben Silver and Ray, respectively. Ben, being the excellent wolf, has trouble interacting with friends because he is overweight hence has few friends, and the relationship with his parents is complex (Bancks, 12). Ray teases Ben by calling him a boy and a girl, whereas his mother helps him lose weight. Ben is a chubby kid whose only aim in life is to finish his movie and hang out with his friends. A good thing about Ben is that he is a creative child, which helps him escape the reality that is depressing according to him.
Ben is in a dilemma between revealing what his parents have done and protecting his family. Ben is also a very protective and responsible character since he takes care of his sister. The good wolf is kind, compassionate, and humble. Ben tried hard to protect his sister from what is going on in the family. Although Ben's father is not kind, Ben learns how to mind his business to avoid getting punished. (Bancks, 24)
The antagonist is Ray, who is a skinny man who is serious. The lousy wolf, Ray, has a lot of lies, anger, regrets, and greed. Ray has also done a lot of jobs, including; salesman, ex-mechanic, and motor wrecker. Ben thinks his father is an opportunist to the extent that when someone mistakenly transfers a large sum of money to his account, he moves the money for the owner not to recover it. It seems that Ray learned his criminal activities from his father, who was also a criminal and would hide in his old cabin in case there was a search for him. Ray did not have a good father figure since he did not spend a lot of time with his father. However, Ray wanted to create a good connection with his children, which is impossible since Ben fears his father (Homeyer, 13).
In conclusion, Ray has engaged in some criminal acts making it hard for the children because they also have to hide from the police. The whole family is affected by the deeds of Ray is isolated from their everyday life and friends. April, Ben's mother, is aware of her husband's act but hides from the children to protect them and keep the family united. Ben's character makes him realize something is wrong, which is the least of what his father expected. Ray always thought of Ben negatively because of his appearance. The novel ends with Ben torn between his own family because of protecting her sister.

Your final assignment is to use your discussion notes to address the following prompt: Choose one group member who participated in your discussion. In 100-150 words, evaluate the effectiveness of their main argument and supporting evidence. Using your notes, explain whether or not their claims were developed well, what evidence they used to support their claim, and how well they responded to the prompt. Is there anything they could have done to be more effective? If so, what was it?
Answer:
My group member demonstrated great claims throughout their paper. They had substancial evidence backing up their ideas, all credible. Each sentence was well thought out and developed, making it easier, for me as a reader to understand. I felt as though they responded well to the prompt. Although they had amazing arguments throughout the paper and great evidence, I felt they were lacking in the descriptions of BLANK. I would reccomend to them that they strengthen and emphasise how they incorporate their details after quotes and sources. Aside from the details, their claims were fantastically written.

Read the excerpt from "A Quilt of a Country."
Once these disparate parts were held together by a common enemy, by the fault lines of world wars and the electrified fence of communism. With the end of the cold war there was the creeping concern that without a focus for hatred and distrust, a sense of national identity would evaporate, that the left side of the hyphen—African-American, Mexican-American, Irish-American—would overwhelm the right.
What is the denotative meaning of fault lines in this excerpt?
lines that are drawn when placing blame
areas of defense in times of war
long cracks in the surface of the earth
breaks in modern American society
Answer: long cracks in the surface of the earth
Explanation:
The denotative meaning of a word refers to what it literally means. It will therefore always be the same regardless of the context that it is given in.
Fault lines are long cracks in the surface of the earth that are created by forces of tension acting on tectonic plates to move away from each other. As they do so, cracks form in the earth's crust that can stretch for miles on end across the surface of the earth.
