Explanation:

theres a lot of paragraphs so you really gotta search for them, a good one that might help you is "Captain Grimm is the captain of his own airship, and acts somewhat like a pirate against other unfriendly airships. Gwendolyn is the daughter of a high house that makes the power crystals which power the mighty airships. She has joined what comprises the military, and meets up with Bridgette, who is a daughter of a fallen house that now makes vat-meat. Yummy. She has a cat though that she can talk to, named Rowl, who is also a main character. It’s okay though, because the cat doesn’t talk. Phew! No talking cats. (As an aside, if you get the chance to listen to this audio book, the voice of Rowl is brilliantly done.) Along the way, they meet Folly and her master, Ferus, who are Etherealists and can control the Ether, which is responsible for lots of the world’s technology and the movement of the airships through the skies. Through Folly, we get a look into both the magic system of the world and the psychological and mental damage that its use imposes on its users. Pretty cool stuff."

"The cabin"

This is the untold story of a hunter, who one day went to the forest to do just that, hunt. On his journey, he decided to change course to give his trade diversity, so he turned his truck around and parked it in front of an unknown forest that was reputed to be abundant in large prey. He went with his shotgun clasped in his hands, waiting for some neglected animal, but he could not see beyond his nose, since suddenly, an abundant fog took over the panorama. This was so thick and profuse, that the hunter could not find his origin and went deeper into the forest than he had planned. He walked and walked rubbing his hands on his forearms, as the fog brought with it an excruciating cold that soaked the poor hunter to the marrow, while a marked white smoke came out of his mouth with each breath.

In turn, trembling like a leaf, the hunter began to give heart-rending cries of despair, as he felt that two whole days had passed. I was hungry, thirsty, cold, and distressed. Until, in the distance, he suddenly spotted a small wooden hut. He ran to the cabin, and out of desperation, he entered without even knocking. Everything was dark, so as he could, he found a small switch, but when the only room was illuminated, horror passed through his eyes when he saw a set of pictures with portraits of people staring at him, some had a full face, but others, not quite. Some were missing their eyes, others their teeth, and others their entire faces.

However, tired, confused, terrified and in turn, relieved to have found a refuge, regardless of his appearance, he decided that any hole would be better than that misleading torture, for which, he took out a blanket and practically fainted due to hunger , thirst, and heartbreak. However, after time, the man woke up suddenly due to an overwhelming light hitting his face, and at that moment, when he saw the blanket that he had used in front of him, he realized that those paintings were not portraits ... they were windows.

Nicholass Diary: April 2 and 3 Friday, April 2 Well, its only 10 more hours until my father and I leave for our treasure hunt. Every Saturday morning for as long as I can remember I have seen him leave, always by himself, to look for treasure. I have always longed to go with him, and hes always told me that someday I would get the chance. I was so excited when he told me I would finally have my chance that I was bouncing off the walls like a rubber ball and springing from one place to the next the rest of the day. He has always been as quiet as a mouse about the treasure that he finds, scurrying away with his equipment in the morning and piling up his treasure in his study. Even though he says he always comes home with something, he has never shown it to me or even told me what type of treasure it is. Is it gold, or silver, or maybe its precious jewels? Whatever it is, tomorrow I will find out, and hopefully hell let me bring some to class so that I can show my friends since Ive been bragging about it to them ever since Dad told me I could go! Saturday, April 3 The treasure hunt was fun, but it was not what I expected. Dad and I left early in the morning and headed for the same woods that we sometimes go hiking in on Sundays. I never would have thought they hold treasure, but what was really odd was when Dad told me to leave the shovels at home because we wouldnt need them. But what he did bring with him was a bright yellow GPS . I had seen it in his truck many times before. I always wondered what he did with it. Today I found out. Dad and I wandered into the woods, first staying on the hiking path I had taken several times before and then veering off the path. The forest was like a statue; it was still and covered in damp moss and dead leaves; it didn't even seem alive. It appeared that no one had been there for a long time so I knew that this treasure must be old and far under the ground. How were we going to get to it without shovels? As Dad kept his eyes on the GPS , I looked around, and suddenly I noticed a patch of leaves that was disturbed and a log that looked like it had been moved. When I asked Dad about it, his eyes lit up, and he said he saw the treasure. He reached under the log and pulled out a plastic box with a label that read Official Geocache. I didnt know what an official geocache was, but I soon found out when Dad opened it. Inside was a little notebook and a bunch of small items like a set of dice, a toy car, and a large silver dollar. Dad said that he thought the toy car was cool, so he took it out and put it in his pocket and then pulled a golf ball from his other pocket and put it in the box. He wrote his name and my name in the little notebook and then closed the box and put it back where he found it. Geocaching, which is what Dad later told me this type of treasure hunting is called, was much different than digging for gold in the ground. But I thought it was fun, and I hope Dad takes me again next Saturday. What is the authors purpose in writing "Nicholass Diary: April 2 and 3"? A. to document what happened during two days in his life B. to describe things that he and his father enjoy together C. to show his disappointment in not finding treasure D. to express how much he enjoys treasure hunting The British blockade prevented food and raw materials from reaching the Central Powers.
