The next eight days, when I woke up I thought I forgot something that is when I remembered today was my birthday the day I was turnig 10. So I immediately rushed downstairs to do everything I needed to do.
At noon I heard music playing whiles I was playing computer games(the fact that nothing had happened and I was bored waiting for my family to show me my surprise) that when I went out to see where the music was coming from.
Immediately I step out of the house everyone shouted HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
I was shocked and started crying joys of tears never thinking this day will come where people will come and celebrate me.

Randy says he is not going to the rumble. He tells Ponyboy all about Bob, the boy Johnny killed and explains that he is too sick of the fighting and cruelty to take part in it anymore. He has decided that Randy is not a Soc but a regular guy.
