Answer 1

Answer:

The majority of animals reproduce sexually, which is where a sperm fertilizes an egg. A new life is formed when genetic information from each parents is combined through a process called meiosis. Each parents gives 23 chromosomes, so when the egg becomes fertilized, the baby has 46 chromosomes. In each round of cell division, cells undergo 4 stages - prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase. If the sperm carries an x chromosome, the fetus will be female. But if the sperm carries a y chromosome, the fetus will me male.

Hope this helps!

Answer 2
Once a month, the female releases an ovum (one egg) or sometimes two (ova) . If an ovum has been released, and the couple have sex, a sperm can unite with it, fertilise it and make the first cell of a new baby. Once one sperm has fertilised the ovum, no other sperm can get in.

Answer:

Self - Actualizationhave been passed in all 50 states.

Explanation:

In Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, "Self-Actualization" sits atop all the other needs and is only achieved when a person believes that they have reached a position in their life where they have done all that they felt they could have done while alive. This level can only be reached when the other needs have been reached such that the person experiences true satisfaction.

Elder Abuse is a serious concern in the United States especially with the elderly population growing faster than the younger one. In response to this, the Federal government has passed several laws to protect the elderly and all 50 states have laws that build on these to protect the elderly.

Answer:

Make it personal...

Explanation:

Sometimes it can feel like maintaining a healthy lifestyle is an overwhelming challenge that doesn’t fit within the realities of daily life. It’s tough to hold down a full-time job, eat well, train for a marathon, make homemade green juice, spend quality time with your family/partner, and meditate for an hour each day.

Of course, healthy living can incorporate all of these things (if you want it to), but it doesn’t have to be defined by grandiose displays of health and fitness.

So much of healthy living is really made up of small things we do daily—things that are so small they don’t feel momentous, but that, done consistently over time, add up to produce big results.

Or, if a different topic comes to mind and meets the criteria, you may use it. Once you have chosen a topic, do a quick online search to see if there is enough information available about it. If the topic is so broad that you think you cannot do it justice in a single paper, try narrowing it. One way to narrow a topic is to ask yourself questions to which you would like to learn the answers. For example, suppose the broad topic is this: Alternative medicines - helpful, unhelpful, or harmful? You might write down questions that make you curious, for example: 1) What types of alternatives medicines exist? 2) What ailments are alternative medicines claimed to be effective for? 3) What studies have been done about alternative medicines? 4) What results have doctors and patients reported? Such questions can guide your research. 1) Write your topic. 2) Write two or more questions that you would like answered about your topic. 3) If you wish to narrow your topic, write the narrow version here. 4) Phrase your topic as a research question that your project will answer.
