Considering why Texans and the Mexican government disagreed, why is that quote interesting and somewhat odd? Explain your answer.

Explanation:

The quote is interesting and somewhat odd is that Sam Houston was the leader of the Texan Army and helped to win independence from Mexico with victories like that at Battle of San Jacinto. Houston is a figure of Texan Independence but also of the annexation of Texas to the United States. Houston served as president of Texas twice. He was also elected to the Senate to represent Texas in 1846.  The whole quote is as follows: "There would be no difficulty in securing the rights of the people and the liberties of Texas if men would march to their duty and not fly like recreants from danger. Texas must be defended and liberty maintained." He was inciting others to join the cause for Texan independence.

Hydrothermal, taped from the biggest river on the state contributes approximately 60% of the energy in the state. Geothermal is second,approximately 30% while wind power contributes approximately 10%.

The reduced flow of water (and sediments) downstream of the dam also impact these ecosystems. Geothermal and wind energy sources have a very minimal environmental impact on the environment .
