The TRUE statement with respect to sexual attitudes and behavior among men and women is B. Regarding premarital sex, the double standard applies to both men and women.
Double standard arises when the same standard is not used to evaluate a case or an occurrence.
For instance, men and women receive the double standard with regard to sexual attitudes and behavior. Promiscuous men do not receive severe condemnation from society as much as promiscuous women. Society expects women to be reserved for their husbands, while allowing men to flirt around.
The question is with who? They are promiscuous with women who are expected to be chaste and virgins. Men usually long to marry virgins, while going about destroying the virginity of women.
Thus, the true statement is B and not statements A, C, and D.

What figurative language / literary devices are in the following quote? What is the meaning? (Part 2)
“But scrw your courage to the sticking place And we’ll not fail. When Duncan is asleep (Whereto the rather shall his day’s hard journey Soundly invite him), his two chamberlains Will I with wine and wassail so convince That memory, the warder of the brain, Shall be a fume, and the receipt of reason a limbeck only. When in swinish sleep Their drenchèd natures lies as in a death, What cannot you and I perform upon Th’ unguarded Duncan? What not put upon His spongy officers, who shall bear the guilt Of our great quell?” (I.vii.70-82).
Answer:
The answer will be multiple-part.
Explanation:
"Your courage to the sticking place" is a well-known statement - from Shakespeare's play Macbeth. The idiom screw... to the sticking place - if you do some research - is defined as "being firm and resolute in... (in this case, courage)." This echoes Shakespeare's ambitious nature - as is shown in a poetic style.
The rest of this paragraph reflects that aspect of him as well. Such words as:
Wassail
Warder
Limbeck
Swinish
Spongy
Quell
Though seemingly just part of the nature of poetry, these words may spark images in your mind that typical, everyday words otherwise don't.

Can someone write me a paragraph about the benefits of living at home
Answer:
The best thing about living away from home is that you have more freedom. You can set your own rules, stay up late, invite friends to your place and have parties whenever you want; hence, a parent- free environment is awesome, but you need to be mature enough to handle it. A drawback is that you may feel homesick. You may miss the moments that you used to share with your family, or even those familiar things such as your neighborhood, your bedroom, your pet and so on. A study in Neuropsychiatry states that people get higher mental health scores if they lived in their family home. Another disadvantage is that you will have to pay a rent, pay the bills, and buy your own food which will definitely affect you in the financial aspect. Finally, another aspect is convenience. You will not have many of the things that you used to have at home. You will have less free time for other activities because you will spend more time doing housework, balancing the budget and organizing things by yourself.
On the other hand, living at home can be frustrating because you always have to obey rules; Your parents will control you most of the time, but this can be a benefit because it can prevent you from being lazy and wasting time doing things that are unproductive. The emotional aspect is also a plus because you would definitely feel better at home. There is nothing like family. They can support you when you need them and cheer you up. Moreover, you can save a lot of money because you do not have to pay a rent neither do you have to buy your own food because your parents will do that for free or sometimes charge you just a low rate. Another point in favor is convenience. You have almost everything you need at home; furthermore, your mother usually does all the housework, at least of the common areas, and organizes everything; consequently you will have more free time for studying or just going out with your friends and having fun.
In conclusion, Even though living away from home can be good since it gives you a feeling of freedom and autonomy, living at home has more advantages contrasted with it. Therefore, if you are planning to leave your house, think it carefully because you can find emotional, financial and convenience disadvantages which will affect you.
Sir, I agree to this Constitution with all its faults, if they are such, because I think a general Government necessary for us, and there is no form of
Government but what may be a blessing to the people if well administered, and believe farther that this is likely to be well administered for a course of years, and can only end in Despotism, as other forms have done before it, when the people shall become so corrupted as to need despotic Government, being incapable of any other. I doubt too whether any to have the advantage other Convention we can obtain, may be able to make a better Constitution. For when you assemble a number of men to have their joint wisdom, you inevitably assemble with those men, all their prejudices, their passions, their errors of opinion, their local interests, and their selfish views. From such an assembly can a perfect production be expected? It therefore astonishes me, Sir, to find this system approaching so near to perfection as it does; and I think it will astonish our enemies Thus I consent, Sir, to this Constitution because expect host The inanay no better, and because I am not sure, that it is not the best. The opinions I have had of its errors, I sacrifice to the public good. I have never whispered a syllable of them abroad. Within these walls they were born, and here they shall die. If every one of us in returning to our Constituents were to report the objections he has had to it, and endeavor to gain partisans in support of them, we might prevent its being generally received, and thereby lose all the salutary effects and great advantages resulting naturally in our favor among foreign Nations as well as among ourselves, from our real or apparent unanimity. Much of the strength and efficiency of any Government in procuring and securing happiness to the people, depends, on opinion, on the general opinion of the goodness of the Government, as well as of the wisdom and integrity
How does Franklin link his claim that an assembly of men includes their character imperfections with the idea that the Constitution is nearly perfect?
OA. by supporting his claim with evidence
OB. by asking a rhetorical question
OC. by relying on emotional appeals
OD. by providing proofs about perfection

In what way were the East Area Computers different from the West Area Computers at the Langley Laboratory in the 1940s?
Answer:
Even though they did the same work as the white female human computers at Langley, the West Computers were required to use segregated work areas, bathrooms, and cafeterias. The West Computers were originally sequestered into the West Area of Langley, hence their nickname.
Explanation:
The West Computers had to use separate work spaces, restrooms, and cafeterias even though they performed the same tasks as the white female human computers at Langley. The West Computers got their moniker because they were initially isolated in Langley's West Area.
What are computers?Computers are defined as a gadget or machine that follows instructions from software to carry out tasks, calculations, and operations. Most commonly, newsletters, books, posters, magazines, and newspapers are produced using computers. They can be applied to almost any kind of publishing. Both hardcopy and electronic publishing uses computers.
White computer workers worked in the "East Area," while black computer workers were segregated into the "West Area," frequently unaware of the black women who worked in the West.
Thus, the West Computers had to use separate work spaces, restrooms, and cafeterias even though they performed the same tasks as the white female human computers at Langley. The West Computers got their moniker because they were initially isolated in Langley's West Area.

Answer:
Last night I was walking home next to the river Thames, when something strange happened to me. It was late at night and I’d had a long and difficult day at work. There was a large full moon in the sky and everything was quiet. I was tired and lonely and I’d just had a few pints of beer in my local pub, so I decided to stop by the riverside and look at the moon for a while. I sat on some steps very close to the water’s edge and looked up at the big yellow moon and wondered if it really was made of cheese. I felt very tired so I closed my eyes and after a few minutes, I fell asleep.
When I woke up, the moon had moved behind a cloud and it was very dark and cold. The wind was blowing and an owl hooted in a tree above me. I rubbed my eyes and started to get up, when suddenly I heard a splash. I looked down at the water and saw something. Something terrible and frightening, and unlike anything I’d ever seen before. Something was coming out of the water and moving towards me. Something green and strange and ugly. It was a long green arm and it was stretching out from the water to grab my leg. I was so scared that I couldn’t move. I’d never been so scared in my whole life. The cold green hand was moving closer and closer when suddenly there was a blue flash and a strange noise from behind me. Someone jumped onto the stairs next to me. He was wearing strange clothes and he had a crazy look in his eyes. He shouted “Get Back!” and pointed something at the monster in the water. There was a bright flash and the monster hissed and disappeared.
I looked up at the man. He looked strange, but kind. “Don’t fall asleep by the river when there’s a full moon”, he said “The Moon Goblins will get you.” I’d never heard of moon goblins before. I didn’t know what to do. “Who… who are you?” I asked him. “You can call me… The Doctor.” He said. I was trying to think of something else to say when he turned around and said, “Watch the stars at night, and be careful of the full moon”. I was trying to understand what he meant, when there was another blue flash and I closed my eyes. When I opened them again, he had gone.
I couldn’t believe what had happened. What on earth were Moon Goblins, and who was the mysterious Doctor? And why had he saved me? I was determined to find the answers to these strange questions. I stood up, looked at the moon and quickly walked home.

Read the excerpt from Hayden and Henry Go to Camp:
The boys had turned 13 in April, so this would be their last summer at camp. Henry was therefore more determined than ever to help Hayden enjoy their time away. As they drove up the long, dirt road toward the camp with their parents, it was Henry who first spotted the banner advertising new activities.
"Hayden, did you see that sign? It says they have now have trampolining, hip-hop dance, and-wait for it-archery. Archery! Just like Robin Hood with his bow and arrow. See? I told you this year would be the best yet!"
As hard as he was trying to maintain the sullen, first-day-of camp attitude he had perfected over the years, Hayden couldn't help but be intrigued. He had always loved to pretend he was Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves, stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. Hayden had begged his parents for a bow and arrow on each of his and Henry's birthdays for the last few years but had always been told he was too young, and it was too dangerous.
Select the event that leads to the theme: Don't be afraid to try new things.
Henry knows his brother likes Robin Hood and wants him to try archery.
Henry noticed the banner advertising the new activities before Hayden did.
