How should we protect tribes from extinction ? write in four points

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

Most of humanity have been grossly negligent in our use of the Earth. Businesses run according to self-interest have ignored the warnings of scientists to the detriment of a global community of bystanders. Governments have failed to attend to the long-term environmental and climate effects of those actions through necessary regulation and enforcement. And urban individuals and families continue to make choices with little if any understanding of how their consumption impacts the planet and our future on it.

Our planet has experienced five previous extinction events—the most recent responsible for the disappearance of the dinosaurs. If we are to minimize the impact of growing threats to the ecological systems essential to human life and prevent the planet’s sixth mass extinction, we need to protect the last remaining areas on earth that are relatively intact.

When we say “intact” we mean those dwindling places that still retain almost complete assemblages of native plants and animals, and where species are still interacting at ecologically functional population levels. Intact places resist climate change because they have multiple, redundant networks for capturing, using, and reusing energy. They better conserve plant and animal species and their complex ecological interactions, than degraded areas, when impacted by floods, fires and droughts. They sequester massive amounts of carbon and they keep wildlife pathogens out of reach of humans for whom they pose a deadly threat.

The correct theory for scenario A is Cognitive Learning theory.

The correct theory for scenario B is Behavioral Learning theory.

The correct theory for scenario C is Social Learning theory.

Cognitive learning theory focuses on the mental thoughts that go through an individual's mind and how they are affected by both internal and external factors. The one-year-old child has fear ingrained in his mind even after some days have passed because of his external experiences.

Behavioral learning theory is based on the idea that people learn through interaction with their environments. Positive and Negative reinforcements play additional roles for they can motivate or water down a person's desire to continue a particular act. We see this learning theory in the second scenario where the husband positively reinforces his wife's act by taking her out. This will motivate the woman to repeat the act.

The Social learning theory proposed by Albert Bandura is based on the fact that people tend to learn by observing the behaviors, attitudes, and emotional responses of others. In the third scenario, all the kids in the line started crying because they learned through observation that the needle was painful.

Conclusively, cognitive, behavioral, and social learning theories apply to scenarios A, B, and C respectively.

You might feel anxious at first

While the effects of quitting social media are generally positive in the long run, your immediate reaction may be one of stress and anxiety. These feelings are caused by a neurobiological withdrawal from the sense of being constantly connected. “If you’re using social media addictively, which some people are, you have elevated levels of dopamine, so when you stop doing that, there is some withdrawal,” says David Greenfield, PhD, assistant clinical professor of psychiatry at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and founder of the Center for Internet and Technology Addiction. Luckily, these feelings usually do not persist beyond the first few days of quitting social media, so you should be able to enjoy the positive effects soon enough.

Bell Hooks noted that elitist, jargony language discouraged popular reading of feminist texts.

Bell Hooks noted that even though women's studies programs were doing some good work in educating the masses on women's rights and feminist ideals, more work could be done when it came to feminist texts.

Ms. Hooks believed that these texts were usually full of unnecessarily complicated text that could be described as jargon and was elitist in tone as it praised women past the point of equality and instead placed them on a pedestal.

Ms. Hooks believed that this was a big reason for feminist texts not making for very popular reading.
