National Flag of Nepal is unique in its shape and gives a distinct identity of Nepal to the world. The National flag of Nepal is triangular in shape , which consists of two juxtaposed triangular figures with crimson colour in the background and deep blue in the borders. In the upper part , there is a white emblem of the crescent moon with eight rays visible out of sixteen and in the lower part , there is a white emblem of sun with twelve rays. The crimson colour in the background represents harmony while the blue colour in the border is the symbol of peace and friendship. The emblem of sun and crescent moon indicate that Nepal and Nepali people will exist independently and proudly as long as the sun and moon exist in the universe. The national flag is the symbol of the identity of Nepalese and has been kept in the government offices in the country as well as Nepali Embassies and immigration offices in other countries.
