Write a narrative poem about Black Lives Matter or Asian Hate
Answer: SUNLIGHT ENTERS THOUGH HER SKIN AND EXITS THOUGH HER SMILE
HER SMILE CAN LIGHT UP A ROOM AND BRING WARMTH
COCO BUTTER AND A LITTLE COCONUT OIL WILL DO
CLEAR LIP GLOSS WILL BRIGHTEN HER SMILE JUST A LITTLE BIT MORE
SHE IS MADE OF SUGAR, HONEY AND GLITTER BUT HER TONGUE IS MADE OF SPICE
ENOUGH SPICES TO MAKE YOU FEEL THE HEAT BUT NOT ENOUGH TO BURN YOU
THE NATURAL HIGHLIGHT ON HER CHEEKS GLIMMER AND TWINKLE WHEN THE SUN HITS THEM
HER HAIR COMES IN DIFFERENT SHAPES, LENGTHS AND TEXTURES
HER SOUL IS BLISSFUL MOST OF THE TIME BUT SOMETIMES IT YEARNS FOR ACCEPTANCE
SOCIETY SHAMES HER
HER COMPLEXION IS TOO DARK
HER HAIR IS TOO WILD AND NAPPY TO TAME
HER NATURAL BODY HAS BEEN CLONED AND OBSERVED WAY TOO MANY TIMES LIKE SHE ON DISPLAY
SHE IS USED FOR RESEARCH WITHOUT HER PERMISSION LIKE SHE IS UNHUMAN
LIKE AN ANIMAL
EVERYONE WANTS TO LOOK AND ACT LIKE HER BUT NO ONE REALLY WANTS TO BE HER
NO ONE WANTS TO FEEL HER PAIN AND GUESS WHAT
NO ONE WOULD EVER WILL
BUT THOUGH IT ALL SHE STILL MANAGES TO SMILE
THE SAME SMILE THAT CAN LIGHT UP A ROOM AND BRING WARMTH
THE SAME SMILE THAT WAS CREATED WITH SUNSHINE
1] I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
[5] Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
[10] Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
[15] A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed—and gazed—but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
[20] In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
What happens in the first stanza?
The poet describes a time that he felt lonely and came upon a field of daffodils.

Why is monitoring heart rate a common technique to determine exercise intensity?
Answer:
The harder and more intensive your exercise is, there needs to be a proportional amount of oxygen-rich blood circulating to supply your body with the needed oxygen to continue.
Explanation:
As you exercise, you start to use more oxygen because your body is doing more work. As you use your muscles, there is an acid called lactic acid that starts to form on your muscles that causes the burning sensation you feel. The harder your exercise , the more of lactic acid there will be. The oxygen helps to clear out this lactic acid, while still supplying your body with the oxygen it requires to all body parts so they can function properly.

Kids Caught In Burning Building
By Appleπ101
Three young boys performed an act of bravery that we will remember them for forever. Dally, Ponyboy, and Johnny were driving home after an exhausting day of work. Passing the church, they see that our church is on fire! As if hardwired into their system, the soldiers jump out of the car and immediately go to save children that were trapped inside. As a chaperone recalls, she was crying for help as other cars drove past without even thinking!
Ponyboy’s district hearing can distinguish the screams of children inside the blazing building. They had been on a picnic. Acting on instinct, Johnny & Ponyboy quickly climb into the burning church through a splintered window, not caring if their lives are on the line, but only thinking about the heartbroken parents that would have been brought with the terrible news.
Now in intensive care, Ponyboy recalls not even thinking about his own safety, but only about the safety of the kids. Johnny and Ponyboy lift the children carefully out of the window, their lungs getting charred with the spitting embers and smoke. As Johnny lifts the last child out of the window, Dally appears that the roof is about to cave in!
The roof crumbles, and Johnny pushes Ponyboy out of the window, and the last thing he hears is the sound of Johnny’s scream. Ponyboy starts to go back in for Johnny, but Dally, knowing what may happen, knocks out Ponyboy. The children are in stable conditions thanks to our heroes.
Later, Ponyboy wakes up in an ambulance, with one of the schoolteachers, who was not able to save the children from the burning church. Jerry Wood, the teacher strongly believes that the boys may have gone to a superhero training camp! All three boys are injured, but Johnny’s back may have possibly have been broken. He was struck by a piece of burning timber as it came down in splinters on Johnny’s back. Tests are still to be done. Ponyboy late reveals that the boys are juvenile delinquents. Now, this story has sparked attention all across town, asking us all, are delinquents really more capable than us?

Read the passage describing the famine that struck Ireland in 1740 to 1741.
In 1740–1741 extremely cold temperatures struck vast areas of pre-industrial Europe, causing harvest failures that led to increased prices for staple food, famine, disease, excess mortality and migration. . . . Ireland was probably more vulnerable than most other European countries. Already in the first half of the eighteenth century, Irish food production was based heavily on potatoes and oats – a pattern of cultivation providing little resilience against the risk of harvest failure after an extremely cold winter. . . . Ireland was ill-prepared to deal with the consequences of harvest failure . . .

Read the excerpt from “Louis Pasteur: Battle with Death.”
He found that by letting this tissue stand for a few days it became weak. When a dog received this weak nerve tissue it became sick, yes. But not so sick that it died. The dog got well. And after that, even if injected with the strongest nerve tissue, the dog did not develop rabies. Its body had built up strength against the disease. The dog was “immune.”
The scientist knew that persons bitten by rabid dogs do not show signs of illness until nearly a month later. If resistance could be built up in these people before they showed signs of the disease, perhaps they might not sicken at all! He worked up a course of treatment. It would take fourteen days.
On the first day a dose of a very weak fourteen-day-old nerve tissue was to be given to a person who had been bitten. This was followed on the second day by a thirteen-day-old dose. And so on, until on the last day strong virus was to be given. During this time the person’s body would be building up resistance. Finally, the victim would have so much resistance that he would not get sick.
How do the details in the excerpt support its main idea?
