Answer:
Dear Diary:
I had a great time these holidays doing various activities. First time in my life I attended the summer camp at the school. I enjoyed the dance session the most. It was such a unique experience attending the dance class with my class mates and other students. All of us were in our casual clothes. The dance teacher was behaving so informally. It appeared as if we were at a dance studio. The one hour long class passed just in a jiffy. I also learnt some dance steps.
I also honed my public speaking skills. The professional trainer taught us the tips to speak confidently and fluently. The mock speeches were brilliant. I was given the topic to speak on ‘My Favourite Book’ during the extempore speech session. I spoke quite well. The trainer praised me. He also gave me some more trips to further improve on my speaking skills.
I also deepened my knowledge about computers. I enjoyed learning advanced levels of computers. First time in my life I learnt how to make a PowerPoint presentation. I was amazed to know so many different features and options. Though I made a very simple presentation, everyone liked it. in the days to come I will be making better ones.
At the end of my holidays we spent a fun-filled week at Rishikesh. The natural beauty of the place is just beyond description. Our hotel was on the banks of the Ganges. The view from our room was just pure heavenly. The incessant burbling and gurgling of the river just soothed the nerves. The sunset and the sunrise beyond the green mountains filled me with awe. The thrill of the rafting in the river was just awesome. I will always cherish these holidays.
lods godbless :)

Read this character description from "The Gift of the Magi." Della finished her cry and attended to her cheeks with the powder rag. She stood by the window and looked out dully at a gray cat walking a gray fence in a gray backyard. Tomorrow would be Christmas Day, and she had only $1.87 with which to buy Jim a present.
This question is incomplete. I looked this question up and was able to find one that begins exactly like this one and uses the same excerpt. I will add the answer choices here:
What inference can best be made about Della from this description:
A. She is depressed about her options.
B. She is concerned about the stray cat in her yard.
C. She enjoys decorating for the holidays.
D. She does not like being married.
Answer:
The inference that can best be made about Della from this description is:
A. She is depressed about her options.
Explanation:
Born in North Carolina, O. Henry (1862-1910) was a short story writer. Among his works is "The Gift of the Magi," the short story we are analyzing here. The characters are Della and her husband, Jim.
The inference we can make about Della after reading the passage is that she is sad about her options. It is Christmas Eve, and she does not have near enough money to buy her husband a gift. She is even crying, since she loves him very much and wishes to give him something nice.
As the story unfolds, Della ends up selling her long and beautiful hair to buy Jim a pricey chain for his watch. When Jim finally arrives, we learn he has sold his watch to buy beautiful combs to adorn Della's hair. Even though one will not be able to wear the other's gift, they have both proven how much they love each other by selling their most valuable possessions.

There are two processes for transmutation. Fast neutron reactors are used in the first (conventional reactors are not very efficient), while hybrid reactors, such as the MYHRRA project, are used in the second.
The Magnum Opus program's four stages correspond to the four phases of alchemical and psychological metamorphosis. They are Rubedo, Nigredo, Albedo, and Citrinitas. These are known as confession, illumination, education, and transformation in terms of psychology, according to Jung.

What is theme ?A theme in modern literary studies is the main subject, idea, or message that runs through a story. Themes may be broken down into two categories: a work's thematic notion and thematic statement. A work's thematic concept is what viewers "think the work is about." The distinction between premises and themes is common.
The most prevalent modern definition of a theme is a concept or point that is essential to a narrative and is frequently encapsulated in a single word (for instance, love, death, or treachery). These themes typically include conflicts between the individual and society, adolescence, people and technology, nostalgia, and the perils of unbridled ambition.
There may be multiple themes in a tale. Themes frequently examine historically widespread or universally recognisable concepts, such ethical issues, and are typically suggested rather than expressed outright.[5] A theme in Aldous Huxley's Brave New World is whether one should live a life that appears better at the cost of sacrificing some of one's humanity. Theme is regarded as one of the elements of fiction, along with story, character, location, and style.

Juliet: If they do see thee, they will murder thee.
Romeo: Alack, there lies more peril in thine eye
Than twenty of their swords: look thou but sweet,
And I am proof against their enmity.
Juliet: I would not for the world they saw thee here.
Romeo: I have night's cloak to hide me from their sight;
And but thou love me, let them find me here:
My life were better ended by their hate,
Than death prorogued, wanting of thy love

The ants were working hard leaving their laziness, as they have their own philosophy – ‘Never borrow, never lend.’ Do you appreciate the philosophy of the ants? Why/ why not. Justify
Answer:
Yes, I appreciate the philosophy of the ants. (Find reasons below)
Explanation:
The ants are hardworking insects that bring in their food when the weather is just right, provide food for their queen, and build the walls of their colonies. Given how tiny these insects are, they can be regarded as hardworking. The philosophy of the ants to 'never borrow and never lend' is one that keeps them on their toes. This mentality promotes independence and serves as motivation for a person to never rely solely on others for help. That way, no one will be a liability to another.
Even though in real-life settings, things can become so difficult that we sometimes beg, still, this philosophy will ensure that begging never becomes a habit.
Read this excerpt from "The Medicine Bag.”
Nothing bothered Cheryl about bringing her friends to see Grandpa. Every day after school started, there’d be a crew of giggling little girls or round-eyed little boys crowded around the old man on the patio, where he’d gotten in the habit of sitting every afternoon.
Grandpa would smile in his gentle way and patiently answer their questions, or he’d tell them stories of brave warriors, ghosts, animals; and the kids listened in awed silence. Those little guys thought Grandpa was great.
Which statement best describes a symbol in this excerpt?
Cheryl is Martin’s younger sister.
Cheryl represents childhood innocence.
The little kids are curious about Grandpa.
The little kids represent warriors and ghosts
This one of those questionsd that does not have a simple straight forward answer.
You can't pick A. We know nothing about Martin: who is that?
The little kids are more than curious about Grandpa. They are awed by him. It is really they who are the innocents.
They are interested in the stories Grandpa has to tell. They are not the warriors--not yet.
